I have to admit, Fashpolitico has a major soft spot for crazy nails. The only time she (almost) got away with it in a work context was during her election campaign. Let’s face it, everyone needed a lift in the 2009 European election campaign against the back drop of the expenses scandal. Salvation came at a Brixton nail bar, with these great campaign nails. Nothing says Vote Labour better than red nails.
Sadly painted nails just are not feasible in a working environment. Every chip needs to be touched up otherwise you simply do not look professional enough.
But great nails do transform a grey working day. In order to avoid unslightly chips Fashpolitico has invested in a two colour approach, deep red for the toes, peach for the hands. She hopes that any chips in peach will be less noticeable but still finds it hard to find the time to allow her nails to dry…
